The Mobiler

You might’ve noticed some fresh faces here at The Mobiler recently, but there’s still plenty of mobile-related news flying by on a daily basis that we’re not getting to – so we’re looking for more passionate writers to join the team. Click through for the details, and how to apply.

The Mobiler is looking for a number of passionate, knowledgeable bloggers to cover mobile technology and lifestyle, including mobile phones, mobile networks (WiMax, LTE etc) and mobile applications (iPhone, Android, BlackBerry etc) as well as laptops, netbooks, and other products or technologies relating to life and business on the move.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, self-edit their writing, recognize significant/newsworthy developments, identify trends, inject a personal touch and occasional humor into their work, and know when/when not to get snarky.

You will be expected to write a minimum of three posts each business day, but the more you can write, the better. A large percentage of your work will be creating news posts, however you will be expected to write a minimum of one feature-length article per month, such as a review or opinion piece, and encouraged to write more than one.

We’re primarily looking for bloggers in the United States and England, however if you think you are a good fit for the team and live outside these countries don’t hesitate to apply.

Bloggers will be paid a minimum of US$4 per thousand pageviews their work generates.

How to apply

Your application must include examples of your work, an indication of your knowledge in the field and your experience writing for the web, and a brief explanation of why we should hire you instead of one of the hundreds of other applicants.

Applications should be sent to jobs@the-mobiler.com.
