Nine Inch Nails Access

Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails have pioneered the act of running a successful band without the help of a label since their split with Interscope Records in 2007. Their upcoming iPhone application, currently awaiting App Store approval, is their latest innovation that will set a benchmark for audience participation and interaction for years to come.

Click through to see Trent Reznor, NIN creative director Rob Sheridan and Internet celebrity Kevin Rose demonstrate the laundry list of features in the app, and ask yourself exactly what justifies the existence of major labels when an independant band is producing new media of this calibre with a miniscule fraction of the marketing budget.
