Bluetooth vulnerability alert for HTC smartphone users

If you own an HTC smartphone running Windows Mobile 6 or 6.1 be warned. Accepting Bluetooth connections from an untrusted source will leave you vulnerable to an attack that could give some nefarious type the ability to access any file on the phone or upload malicious code.

Pharos Traveler 137 made official

Pharos has announced the Pharos Traveler 137, a quad-band EDGE/tri-band HSDPA phone capable of working on both AT&T and T-Mobile. The Windows Mobile 6.1-based phone has a touchscreen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM tuner, and microSDHC expansion – and is capable of making the jump to Windows Mobile 6.5.

Microsoft Mobile Incubation Week winner announced

Last week, Microsoft hosted a competition for Windows Mobile developers at its Silicon Valley Campus in Mountain View, CA. Six finalists were chosen from 50 applications:
