Novatel’s MiFi 2200 personal hotspot coming to Sprint

While Verizon will be releasing their branded version of Novatel’s MiFi 2200 on the 17th, we had an inkling it wouldn’t be long before other carriers got on board…and we were right – Sprint today announced its version of the MiFi 2200 will be available in the first week of June.

WiMax is all well and good, but what about all those devices you have without built-in WiMax modems? Clearwire’s Clear Spot personal hotspot is one solution, which connects to Clearwire’s WiMax network and provides Wi-Fi connectivity to up to eight devices, provided they support 802.11b/g.
