Google backflips on decision to pull tethering apps from the Android Market

Seth over at False Dichotomies has heard from Google regarding their decision to remove tethering apps from the Android Market:
We inadvertently unpublished your application for all mobile providers; if you like, we can restore your app so that all Android Market users outside the T-Mobile US network will have access to your application.

Google removes tethering apps from the Android Market

Google has removed a number of applications from the Android Market that allow users to tether their handsets to other devices in order to share an Internet connection, including Wifi Tether for Root Users, citing a clause in the Developer Distribution Agreement that allows apps in violation of the Authorized Carrier’s ToS to be removed.
