It appears that iPhone users who like their reality of the ‘augmented’ variety will have something to celebrate when Apple releases iPhone OS 3.1. Apparently some developers are already creating augmented reality apps for the iPhone by taking advantage of undocumented APIs in iPhone OS 3, but Apple has reportedly been telling developers of [...]
If you’re an iPhone owner, you know Apple didn’t give access to iTunes music as part of the built in clock app on iPhone. If you prefer to march to the beat of a different drum, this new app is a must have. It runs as a stand alone alarm clock on iPhone and, instead [...]
A recent sneak preview of Qik on iPhone was an exciting preview for hopeful new iPhone 3GS owners. Apparently, some pushback from AT&T is preventing what looks like a great app from hitting the App Store because of concerns over bandwidth. We’re here to change all that. If you’re a bipedal multitasker, this could quickly become your favorite iPhone app. While some have yet to grasp the “mobile” concept of today’s phones and insist on finishing conversations while standing in or near the doorway (as you wait… and wait for them), the text-centric mobile evolution has already replaced “walking and talking” with [...]

The bug was fixed within 24 hours, but the update containing the fix was eventually rejected from the App [...]
In just nine months, over one billion applications and games have been downloaded from Apple’s App Store. One lucky person, who has yet to be announced, has won $13,746 worth of swag: $10,000 of iTunes credit, a 17″ MacBook Pro, a 32GB iPod touch and a Time Capsule.
It’s been a few weeks since we brought news of Quickoffice, the app that brings full Word and Excel support to the iPhone – now we can tell you that it’s available in the App Store for $19.99.
While the iPhone can view Word and Excel files, sometimes the inability to create and edit them is a major pain (and probably a complete showstopper for more than a few BlackBerry users who have considered the switch). Finally, Quickoffice is ready to bring full Word and Excel support to the iPhone later this month.
