AT&T to up the pace of its mobile broadband

AT&T has announced plans to double the speed of its wireless broadband network by rolling out HSPA (High Speed Packet Access) technology. Clear Spot personal hotspot shares Clearwire WiMax with your Wi-Fi devices

WiMax is all well and good, but what about all those devices you have without built-in WiMax modems? Clearwire’s Clear Spot personal hotspot is one solution, which connects to Clearwire’s WiMax network and provides Wi-Fi connectivity to up to eight devices, provided they support 802.11b/g.
