T-Mobile Germany releasing Android 1.5 update in May

T-Mobile Germany has updated its website with the news that the Android 1.5 (Cupcake) update will be automatically rolled out to G1 customers on the network in May, free of charge.

T-Mobile US has not yet announced official support or a release date for the update, but one could reasonably expect it to follow T-Mobile Germany’s lead come May.
