The Samsung SCH-W760 with infrared camera
Anyone wanting to give their video conferences that classy Paris Hilton sex video look will be crossing their fingers in hope that the Samsung SCH-W760 scores a release outside its native Korea. The phone is the first to come with a front facing infrared camera for low-light video conferencing and also includes a rear-facing 3-megapixel camera for more traditional shots.
Sporting a slider form factor, the SCH-W760 also features a 2.8-inch AMOLED 240 x 400 resolution display, Bluetooth, and 8GB of internal memory, which is expandable via a microSD memory card slot. S-DMB support means Koreans will be able to watch TV on the unit, while HSDPA provides transfer speeds of up to 7.2Mbps.
Samsung hasn’t indicated whether the SCH-W760 will make it to other shores, but Koreans can grab the phone now for KRW580,000 (approx. USD$457 at time of publication).
