Palm Pre: user guide, activation instructions and reviews

Palm Pre Activation

Palm Pre Activation

Official Palm Pre documentation and hands-on reviews are finally ending months of speculation over exactly what this phone will do to simplify and streamline communication. Answers to those questions Palm and Sprint have anticipated on behalf of customers have been digitized as well as step by step Palm Pre activation instructions from deep within Sprint’s Customer Care Team.

Palm Pre isn’t available until June 6 at retail. What more can we ask for?

Palm Pre push Gmail sounds like a great idea, but inital reviews are pretty clear… like plastic:

The Pre feels really good in your hand in terms of size and shape, but there’s a real plasticky aura about it. Additionally, things aren’t looking good for that QWERTY either. And hey, you know we take them keyboards seriously! When you try and type on the top row of keys, your finger hits the bottom part of the front piece and on top of that, you often hit multiple keys at the same time while typing. It’s actually really frustrating and doesn’t bode well for such a fantastic social communication/personal/business tool.

Activation should be relatively simple for customers even though Palm Pre activation instructions may appear to be somewhat complicated. Keep in mind the author is also writing instructions for Sprint representatives who will activate phones for customers.

Although it seems long, 99.9% of customers will only have to power on their phone and it will be done.
