Nokia N97
Nokia has started taking pre-orders for their upcoming flagship handset, the N97, in the US and UK. The unlocked handset is available in black or white, and will set you back $699/£499 – although we can’t find any information regarding when they’ll start shipping.

A truly silly and disappointing marketing move by Nokia (one should say: “as usually”); first, they announce a fabulous new model a year in advance, then You wait like forever, then they take “pre-orders” on non-european markets…and when the model arrives – the competition has already sold 3 series of similar, or already more loaded smartphones.
I have been a huge fan and supporter since my first “Nokia”…but, since I suppose that only my grand-children will have the chance to use the “brand new Nokia model” – I am switching to something else… HTC Touch HD, for instance…
(and, yeah – N86 8 MP is also “coming soon” to Europe …that is, if You believe in Easter Bunny, as well…
