Nokia N97
The long awaited Nokia N97 will undoubtedly be a hit at parties—wearing black (or white) and bundled with MD-8 speakers—when it arrives on Vodafone in the UK on June 26.
Nokia also revealed the Vodafone version of N97 will not come pre-loaded with Skype. The battle between carriers fighting to maintain the bottom line, and device makers adding functionality to keep the business actually isn’t much of a battle – as developers usually come up with something not long after a device is made available.
Rumor has it that a US network may get the N97 as early as June 2, which would make sense with Palm Pre and a new iPhone both slated for early June release, but there has been no date confirmed by Nokia.
