London Calling mobile phone
The Red telephone box is a British icon as recognizable as Big Ben. Although the spread of mobile phones has seen their usage and numbers drop in recent years, they can still be found on many a street in ol’ Blighty. Now patriotic Brits can take the red telephone box with them everywhere they go with the London Calling mobile phone.
Modelled on the classic K6 Red Telephone Box the phone will bring Brits to their feet with its Rule Britannia, God Save the Queen, or one of 20 other ringtones. The phone features a camera, SMS and MMS functionality, polyphonic ringtones, GPRS/WAP 2.0 and a 65k color TFT screen on which to display one of the 15 different images from Britain. It measures 102 x 43 x 21 mm and weighs about 100 grams.
The London Calling mobile phone is sold unlocked and retails for UKP£85.95 (approx. USD$140 at time of publication).
