LG Viewty II
Apparently the folks at Electricpig have got their hands on Orange UK’s Q2 release schedule, which states that LG’s upcoming flagship device, the 8 megapixel Viewty II (or GC900), will arrive on the network some time in June.
The Viewty II is an impressive device, featuring a camera that might just outshine your current point-and-shoot with 8 megapixels, Schneider-Kreuznach certified optics, xenon flash, geo-tagging, ISO sensitivity up to 1600, and video recording up to 120fps. Rounding out the camera capabilities are consumer-friendly functions like image stabilization, auto and manual focus, Face Tracking, Smile Shot and blink detection.
It’s not just the camera that has people talking – the Viewty II boasts 32GB storage, DivX and XviD playback and LG’s S-Class 3D UI, with 7.2Mbps 3G HSDPA and Wi-Fi for connectivity – and at 13.95 mm thick, LG is claiming the title of world’s thinnest 8 megapixel camera phone.
We hope to tell you more about the Viewty II, including the price, shortly.
