
iPhone OS 3.0 Features
Daniel Ionescu at PC World wrote about of some of the new “hidden” features iPhone OS 3.0 brings to iPhone and iPod Touch users. Apple’s servers are now running smoothly, so everyone should be able to upgrade and start using these new features right away.

- Adjustable Song Scrolling Speed: high, half, quarter or fine scrubbing
- Special Characters In Messaging: em-dash, ellipsis and so much more…
- More Ways to Access Spotlight: with search bars above Mail and Contacts
- Quote Fragment Within Reply in Mail: select the text you want to quote
- Remove Individual Texts from A Conversation: top-right edit button
- Open Link In New Tab In Safari: open, copy or open a link in a new page
- Force Quit Unresponsive Apps: hold sleep/wake button first, then home
- Shake Phone to Undo Typing: shake the phone for the dialog, and done
- Change App Store Account On The Fly: sign in/out, edit/view account
- Unlimited Number of Apps Installed: how many apps do you want?
