HP Mini 1151NR
The HP Mini 1151NR, which takes a relatively standard set of netbook internals (1.6GHz Atom N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM and 80GB storage) and adds Qualcomm’s Gobi 3G modem for EV-DO Rev. A and HSPA 3G access, is now available from Verizon for $199.99 on a two-year contract.
Available plans are $39.99 per month for 250MB of data with 10 cents per megabyte overage, or $59.99 per month for 5GB of data with 5 cents per megabyte overage.
We haven’t played with a Mini 1151NR, but expect it’s one of the best subsidized netbooks available, as the Mini 2140 won our recent netbook showdown, the Asus Eee S101H vs the HP Mini 2140 vs the Kogan Agora Pro vs the Sony VAIO P.

This is a nice machine, and does a good job
of providing Internet Connection Sharing
to the Broadband wireless modem for my
modest home network; Still have not figured
out why I have to Restart in order for the
ethernet port to be detected by the NB.
