Google Maps Android Update

Google Maps Android Update

The Google Maps application was just updated in the Android Market. If you’ve never used Google Maps on your phone, it’s free and easy to use for directions, traffic information and much more.

This update takes the carrier out of the picture and puts the Android version of Google Maps a few steps above any other platform because it includes voice search, more comprehensive support for Latitude, detailed business information, and pedestrian / mass transit navigation for hundreds of cities. Business information, reviews and ratings with quick access to store hours and one click voice calling to those businesses make Google Maps indispensable on Android devices.

Hello, I recently received a replacement G1 cell phone from T-Mobil because of a defective phone. I had the new Google Maps update on my old phone but I can’t seem to get the new one to update nor can I find it in the Android market. I’ve contacted customer support and haven’t found a solution there either. Is there anyone there who can help me out on this?
