iPhone Power Station
The battery life of the iPhone is one of the main complaints, and while there’s solutions like the Mophie Juice Pack Air, I can completely understand someone not wanting to pay $80 and add bulk to their phone for the privilege of extra battery life. The generic solutions available from Meritline might not give you name-brand confidence, but they’re a small fraction of the price.
It’ll take three hours to charge to full capacity and can easily tuck into a pocket in your laptop bag to keep your iPhone 3G powered in an emergency. Sure, it might break in six months time, but you could buy seven of these things for the price of a Mophie.
If you’re interested, head over to Meritline to order one – and if any of our readers have had experience with this particular backup battery, let us know in the comments.
