Fujitsu M2010
Fujitsu is now taking orders for the new M2010 Mini-Notebook. $450 gets you Bluetooth connectivity, three USB 2.0 ports, the Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, and a built-in webcam.
My last PC was an ultra portable “Lifebook” by Fujitsu that cost just over $2,000 and didn’t even have a webcam. Of course, the battery life was over five hours (compared to 2.5 on this netbook) and it had an 80 gig hard drive, so maybe I got my money’s worth. But it wasn’t red!
The M2010 ships with a 3-cell battery that provides 2.5 hours of battery life, so we suggest you pick up the optional 6-cell battery, which is available for $129.
