Windows Marketplace applications can be used on five devices

At TechEd last week, Microsoft announced that applications bought from the upcoming Windows Marketplace will allow you to use them on up to five devices, once those devices have been registered with the Marketplace – even if those devices are owned or used by people other than yourself.

Microsoft Mobile Incubation Week winner announced

Last week, Microsoft hosted a competition for Windows Mobile developers at its Silicon Valley Campus in Mountain View, CA. Six finalists were chosen from 50 applications:

Windows Mobile 6.5 launch date set to May 11

Hands on with Windows Mobile 6.5

Anthony Caruana over at PocketMojo recently got an exclusive hands on with Windows Mobile 6.5 running on an HTC Touch Pro, and came away impressed with Microsoft’s efforts to improve the user experience – citing the clutz-friendly “honeycomb” icon arrangement, a consolidated inbox widget, and improvements to Internet Explorer Mobile among other things.
