Sprint today launched the LG Remarq messaging phone, made from 19 percent recycled plastic. Other green credentials include a complete absence of hazardous materials, an impressive 87 percent recyclable components, recycled paper packaging, a low-energy charger and an app to measure your carbon footprint.

LG Viewty II coming to Orange UK in June

Apparently the folks at Electricpig have got their hands on Orange UK’s Q2 release schedule, which states that LG’s upcoming flagship device, the 8 megapixel Viewty II (or GC900), will arrive on the network some time in June.

LG will let you touch the GD900 at CTIA

LG presented the GD900 as a concept phone back at Mobile World Congress, but didn’t give anyone an opportunity to get their hands on the world’s first transparent glass keypad. Apparently, those attending CTIA in Las Vegas will get that opportunity.
