BlackBerry OS 5.0
A CrackBerry reader has provided them with a brief video of BlackBerry OS 5.0 running on a Curve 8900, which shows off the ability to swipe through pictures with the trackball, a new media memory statistics screen, and a new boot screen with a loading indicator to replace that unsettling white screen we’re accustomed to.
It’s nothing revolutionary by any stretch, indicating that RIM are confident with their ability to compete with Palm, Apple and Android – for now. According to CrackBerry, RIM are preparing to roll out BlackBerry OS 5.0 alongside BlackBerry Enterprise Services 5.0 in time for the Wireless Enterprise Symposium in May this year.
