While T-Mobile’s over-the-air Cupcake update we told you about at the start of the month has been delayed until early June, the waiting game is now over – provided you’re willing to download the update files and force your T-Mobile G1 into a manual update procedure.

The Cupcake OS 1.5 ROM can be downloaded from Google, and instructions on how to force your G1 to update are available from IntoMobile.
