ASRock Multibook G22
The Multibook G22 has the looks of a netbook, and offers features that most netbooks don’t. It seems to be a true mingling of useful laptop features in a netbook size.
While it is more than an inch thick and weighs in just over 3.3 lbs without the battery; the best features of the Multibook G22 is a decent hard drive – 320GB compared to 160GB found in most netbooks. The G22 is powered by the dual core Atom 330 processor, NVIDIA Ion and 2GB of ram. You may think this is closer to an ultraportable laptop rather than a netbook but as pointed out the Atom processor keeps the functionality pretty basic.
Additional G22 Features
- 12.1-inch 1366 x 768 display
- 10-in-1 card reader
- VGA and HDMI
- 802.1n
- Bluetooth 2.1+EDR
- DVD burner
The Multibook G22 would certainly be more my style of netbook and provide better options for working on the road compared to other netbook models.
Now it is just a matter of waiting for availability and pricing.

ASRock, too much like AS.SRock. What a laugh. Not sure if the marketing group got much sleep while thinking this one up.
